Ilagiit Council Coordinator, Elaisa Alaku, has begun facilitating Ilagiit Councils in several Nunavik communities. She brings important people to a child to discuss and decide together what support they can provide when parents are facing hardship. Emily Mina was recently hired as an Ilagiit Council facilitator in Inukjuak and will begin facilitation in the community once her training is completed.
